2011 is the current year in the Gregorian calendar; the 11th year of the third millennium and of the twenty-first century. What does this number signify and what should we expect for the year? From a careful study of the Bible we can deduce that the number 11 signifies judgment , disorder and destruction. It is no coincidence therefore that the builders of the Tower of Babel were JUDGED in Genesis 11 and DISORDER set in giving the place its name Babel(Confusion). You can also understand why the name Abaddon, the god of destruction, judgment and disorder is revealed in Revelation 9:11, exposing the spirit behind the 9/11 attack on the United States.

In this write up, we shall be looking at the biblical connection of the number 11 to judgment, destruction and disorder and its mystical link to the Islamic Jihadist spirit of terrorism. We shall explain why presidents of some Arab countries (Yemen, Egypt and Tunisia) suddenly came under judgment in 2011 and why many Islamic nations will be in disorder this year. By extension, we shall be connecting the dot and utilizing this study to predict the possible events of the year and how we can prepare to win amidst the turmoil.

BIBLICAL MEANING OF NUMBERS: BIBLE NUMEROLOGY

In the Watchman Epistles Blog, we have always proven that present world events can be understood and even predicted with accuracy by a deep study of the Bible. In this particular revelation we shall be using Biblical numerology to explain recent world events. Biblical numerology concerns the study of numbers in the Bible. The Bible includes many numerical symbols and references to specific numbers. A study of this intriguing subject, has a way of touching on just about every area when it comes to our biblical studies. Not just from a theological point of view, but leaning a lot towards divine insight, that could reveal a deeper understanding -- when it comes to the area of biblical prophecy.

THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF 11

The Number 11 is between numbers 10 and 12. Whereas 10 stands for the perfection of divine order as in the 10 commandments, 12 stands for the perfection of divine government as in 12 Apostles, 12 tribes of Israel etc. Now understand the logic: If ten is the number which marks the perfection of Divine order, then eleven is an addition to it, subversive of and undoing that order. Put in another way, Number TEN represents the law and RESPONSIBILITY, a broken Law and Responsibility always brings JUDGMENT and DISORDER. Also, If twelve is the number which marks the perfection of Divine government, then eleven falls short of it. So that whether we regard it as being 10 + 1, or 12 - 1, it is the number which marks, disorder, disorganization, imperfection, and judgment.

11 is mentioned about 26 times in the entire Bible and most of the times we see it, JUDGMENT AND DISORDER always accompanies it. As mentioned earlier, it was in Genesis 11 that the builders of the Tower of Babel were JUDGED by God and DISORDER or confusion of tongues followed which resulted in the name Babel from where we get Babylon a City in Iraq- (a country of disorder till date). It is also interesting that the Hebrew name Abaddon (god of destruction, disorder and judgment) in Strong's Concordance is number "H11"2 revealing that the name is the 11th chronological word in the Old Testament! Strong’s Concordance analyses the word thus3

Phonetic Spelling: (ab-ad-done')

Word Origin: from abad

Definition: (place of) destruction or ruin, Abaddon

Below are the occasions of number 11 appearing in the Bible and the incidences of disorder and judgment that followed:

There were ELEVEN JUDGMENTS upon the Egyptians. They are as follows:

1. The plague of Blood. (Ex. 7:19-21)

2. The plague of Frogs. (Ex. 8:1-7)

3. The plague of Lice. ( Ex. 8:16-17)

4. The plague of Flies. (Ex. 21-24)

5. The plague of Murrain. (Ex. 9:1-7)

6. The plague of Boils. (Ex. 9:8-11)

7. The plague of Hail. (Ex. 9:22-25)

8. The plague of Locusts. (Ex. 10:12-25)

9. The plague of Darkness. (Ex. 10-21-23)

10. The plague of First-born. (Ex. 12:29-30)

11. The overthrow at the Red Sea. (Ex. 14:24-28).

The 11th Judgment on Canaan

It was here that the ELEVENTH judgment upon Canaan, a son of Ham, because Ham saw his father's nakedness when he was uncovered in his tent. Noah said,

"Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants he be unto his brethren."4

In Genesis 10:15-18 it says that Canaan had ELEVEN sons.

The Eleventh Year Judgments

The year that Ezekiel prophesied destruction upon Tyre ⁵and upon Egypt ⁶was in the ELEVENTH year of Zedekiah’s reign, it was in the same year that Jerusalem was broken up (DESTRUCTION). And the King was captured by and taken to Babylon, and JUDGMENT.

So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah. … Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, … But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him. Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him. And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah. Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death. 7

Jehoiakim Reigned Eleven Years

Like Zedekiah like Johoiakim. It was in the 11^th year of the reign of Johoiakim that he received his judgment

Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God. Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.8

The Judgment of Jezebel

Jezebel was Judged on the 11th year of the reign of Joram

Jezebel, the wicked queen and wife of King Ahab of Israel was judged during the ELEVENTH year of the reign of Joram 9

The Judgment on the Israelites

At Kadesh, sometimes called Kadesh-Barnea, the children of Israel brought JUDGMENT upon themselves by refusing to go up and possess the promised land after the twelve spies had returned. They were condemned to wander in the wilderness until forty years were over, and until all who were 20 years old and upward when they had been numbered had died, with the exception of Joshua and Caleb. 10.

Now read Deuteronomy 1:2:

"There are ELEVEN days journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir unto Kadesh-Barnea."

Those ELEVEN day's journey brought them to the place where JUDGMENT was passed upon them. The country of Sinai is often called Horeb11. At Horeb, or Sinai is where the LAW, represented by the number TEN, was given. ELEVEN is one more than TEN. How fitting it is that the number ELEVEN should be found right after Horeb, and that those ELEVEN days brought Israel to a place of JUDGMENT. Was this a mere coincidence? Surely not! It was so designed by the ONE who inspired the Scriptures to show us the connection between the Law and Judgment. A broken LAW always brings JUDGMENT.

The Judgment of Judas

When the Bible talks about ELEVEN disciples 12, it means one has fallen away, JUDGMENT has fallen and one is under judgment.

THE OTHER SIDE OF ELEVEN

We have seen that the number 11 provokes judgment and disorders especially upon the leadership of a system. However when this same number is associated with a righteous leader it automatically assumes a different effect. The 11th chapter of Psalms explains this differentiation

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright. Ps 11:5-7

The righteous will always be delivered when judgment falls but his enemies will go for it.2 Cor 10:6. example is Daniel, his enemies got eaten up in his place when judgment came. In the later part of this write up we shall examine how 11 is a number connected to messianic rulers and how Joseph, Moses and Jesus share the number

NUMBER 11 AND ISLAMIC TERRORISM

There is an outstanding connection between the number 11 and Islamic terrorist activities! If the number 11 is not being used deliberately by the terrorists because of the negative meaning of "judgment and disorder," it could be that God is revealing the source of who is responsible for the terrorists attacks when the number 11 is used. It is no coincidence that the name "Abaddon" (Strong's H11), the god of destruction, judgment & disorder, is revealed in Revelation 9:11, revealing who was responsible for the 9/11 attack upon the USA.

Revelation 9:11, tells us the source of Abaddon

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

1. The Islamic founder, Muhammad, died in the year 632 AD13 = 6 + 3 + 2 = 11. Supposedly he received the revelation of the Quran over a period of 22 years, which is a double 1114.

2. Below are well known Islamic terrorist activities all happened on day 11

The World Trade Center attack was on September 11, 2001.15

The Madrid, Spain train bombing was on March 11, 2004.16

The Mumbai (Bombay), India train bombing was on July 11, 2006 (reportedly the bombs in India went off within an 11 minute span).17

As I write this paragraph, I read the news that 4 blast just happened today the 11^th of February 2011 in Karachi.18 Scientists and world observers are yet to explain the link between number 11and terrorism and some even dismiss it as mere coincidences. Commenting on the ‘11^th day’ timing of the Indian train Bombing, Stephen Cohen, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution said, "There's no particular reason for this timing at all, it could coincide with the anniversary of the Madrid bombing for example, but that's speculative."19

But students of the Bible have a deeper understanding of the timing. We deduce from above that Abaddon, the god of destruction operates through Islam (Al-Qaeda) and use the number 11 in operation and that ELEVEN in the Bible is always associated with disorder and judgment.

3. The September 11 Attack Analyzed

On September, 11 2001, America received a Judgment that shook the nation and forced them to think about God and the holy scriptures upon which they built their nation but which they have also abandoned. During the attack, their was disorder and Islamic group known as Al Qaeda has been pinned as being responsible for the attack. Further investigations into the 9/11 incident will show why it had to be that date and time….September 11, 2001 witnessed a convergence of 11s- it was the year that had the strongest emphasis on number 11 both on the names of the leaders of that period and the geographic location it took place. The following are more shocking connections between the number 11 and the 9/11 attack on US

* The date of the attack: 9/11: 9 + 1 + 1 = 11

The Twin Towers look like No. 11

* September 11th is the 254th day of the year: 2 + 5 + 4 = 11

* After September 11th there are 111 days left to the end of the year.

* 119 is the area code to Iraq/Iran. 1 + 1 + 9 = 11

* Twin Towers - standing side by side, looks like the number 11

* The first plane to hit the towers was Flight 11

* Flight 11 had 92 on board: 9 + 2 = 11

* Flight 77 had 65 on board: 6 + 5 = 11

* State of New York - The 11th State added to the Union

* Ramzi Yousef: 11 Letters (convicted for orchestrating the attack at the WTC in 1993)

* The Prime Minister of Israel - Ariel Sharon - 11 Letters.

* Deputy PM, & Minister of Foreign Affairs for Israel - Shimon Peres - 11 Letters.

* The Taliban's Manual of Afghan Jihad (Holy War) is 11 volumes

* New York City - 11 Letters

* Afghanistan - 11 Letters

* The Pentagon - 11 Letters

* George W. Bush - 11 Letters (the president of America during the attack)

Can all these be mere coincidences?

THE MESSIANIC NUMBER

Jesus, Moses and Joseph share the number 11 and all of them are 'messiahs' one way or the other. Moses occurs 847 times in the original Greek and Hebrew and 847 is a multiple of 11.(11x77). Moses occurs 22 times in the epistles (2x11). Also the epistle that contains Moses name the most is Hebrew where it occurs exactly 11 times. Joseph is the 11th born of Jacob and the letters of his full names Joseph(First name) Jacob(Surname) add up to be 11. He spent 11 years in Potipher's house. Jesus Christ name also add up to 11 letters and He mentored 11 disciples successfully loosing only Judas whom He called the son of perdition. He died at 33 (11x3). We can therefore deduce that when the number 11 is associated with a righteous leader, that individual will likely be a messiah.

PREDICTIONS FOR 2011

Political Unrests and Judgment of Leaders

What should we expect for 2011, seeing it is an 11^th year of the new millennium? Already we can see how the year started with the ISLAM-dominated Arab countries plunging into DISORDER as their former leaders are under a JUDGMENT that ends up dethroning their leaderships which have lasted decades. By February 11, 2011 when I posted this blog, Tunisian President Ben Ali is already ousted, Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak stepped down today (11^th) while Yemenis President Ali Abdallah Saleh’s process of removal has just starting. We are going to be witnessing more of this type of disorder and judgment of leaders this year

Such ‘11th year’ form of judgment on leaders are not new: Recall Jezebel, the wicked queen was judged during the 11^th year of the reign of Joram; so also was Zedekiah and Johoiakim JUDGED and deposed during the 11^th year of their reign. History is only repeating itself. And the scriptures is a good Compass to understand the direction of world events

The Convergence of 11s

Just like the September 11 bombing was strategically timed and could have been predicted if people understood the convergence of 11 for that year, we should watch out for things that come together as 11. For instance, an 11^th- Century Preah Vihear temple built to honour the Hindu god Shiva, has become a source of contention between Thailand and Cambodia since it was granted UN World Heritage status in July 2008. This year 2011, violence between the two countries over the temple has claimed many lives20. NB: 11th Century temple generating DISORDER in the 11^th year of the twenty first Century after about a thousand years. Talk about a convergence of 11s. This year watch out when two 11 events and dates coincide, Judgment or disorder for the wicked and promotion for the righteous will be the likely result.

Finally, come under the blood. It was the blood sprinkled on the door of the Israelites that made them escape the Angel of destruction that visited the land. This year as abaddon is unleashing terror, may you be found under the blood of Jesus.
